Situational leadership is all about adapting to and developing your team over time. This requires flexibility, strong communication, and emotional intelligence, and applying these skills in different contexts and priorities. This Situational Leadership Model recognizes that there's no one-size-fits-all approach to leadership. While Leaders should first identify their key tasks or priorities for self-assessment, they should assess their followers' readiness level, considering their ability and willingness to complete the tasks.
